Ralf Zimmermann's path into construction began early — a boy who loved fixing things, tinkering in his grandmother's attic, always finding a way to make things work. He formalized that instinct at the Trade Academy of Konstanz am Bodensee in Southern Germany (1980–1984), beginning his apprenticeship as an electrician at 16. What started in lighting and lighting control evolved through decades of hands-on experience — from clean-room installation work that took him around the world, to smaller remodels and additions, and ultimately to the multi-million dollar custom homes Zimmermann Construction is known for today: 3,500–6,000 sq ft residences with subterranean garages and basements, built from the ground up.

Built entirely on word-of-mouth referrals from architects and interior designers, Zimmermann Construction has grown around a team of trusted subcontractors — the same hands-on partners for 15–18 years. Today, Ralf oversees all projects alongside two full-time project managers, with a personal focus on custom home building, quality control, inspections, and city relations.
